Personal:
I began playing hockey when I was just two years old, going down to my neighborhood rink and skating with all of the older kids as much as possible in the winter. That is where I grew my love for hockey.
I grew up playing for Edina my whole life, it wasn’t until my junior year of high school where I left to play at private school Holy Family. I finished my junior year of high school playing for Waterloo, and that is when I got the urge to play more juniors. I then left my senior year of high school to go play for Waterloo for a full year. The following year I was traded to Omaha, then Madison, and then I finished the year in Cowichan Valley in the BCHL.
I got to SJU through connections, I knew I wanted to play D3 hockey and I had connections to Saint Johns, so I decided to come for a visit. After my first time stepping on campus, I fell in love.
I am double majoring in Global Business Leadership and History. If I don’t get the opportunity to play hockey after my senior year, I plan to do some extra school afterwards (most likely in law). I came to SJU not only to become a better hockey player, but because I know they will properly prepare me for the “real world”.
Some of my favorite things to do outside of the rink are watching the Minnesota Vikings, listening to music, and doing anything at the cabin.
