Personal:
I grew up in Eden Prairie, MN and have been playing hockey since I was three years old. My older brother played hockey, so I looked up to him and wanted to follow his footsteps. We had a pond in our backyard so that is where I first learned to skate and my brother, dad, and I would be out there every winter. I played for EP from mites through high school and played juniors in the NAHL for the New Mexico Ice Wolves. When I was looking for schools, I wanted a place with good academics first and a good hockey team as well. I knew a few guys were coming here so it made my decision easy. I wanted somewhere close to home but not too close to my parents.
I am a GBUS major and want to go into some type of marketing or finance and eventually run my own company. I like to hang out with the boys and play golf in my free time.
I want to play hockey for as long as I can but when hockey is out of the picture, I want to run my own business and be a hockey coach for a team to stay involved in the game. I want to go away for a bit and live in a big city like Chicago or New York, eventually I would like to come back and settle down somewhere here in Minnesota.
