Personal:
I got into hockey at a very young age, my older cousin played hockey and my dad took me to watch a game of his when I was 3 years old. After the game, I was learning to skate a couple of weeks later. As I got older I always wanted to play college hockey, I had some great mentors and coaches to look up to and get advice from while playing youth hockey in Chicago. After high school, I was still wanting to play college hockey and was unsure of what I wanted to do in school, so I decided to play 3 years of junior hockey. I landed with a great organization in St. Louis, Missouri playing all 3 of my years for the Jr. Blues. In my third and final year of junior hockey, I started to look at schools to attend and play at after juniors. After talking with the St. John’s coaches during the season, I decided to visit St. John’s University and knew this was the place I wanted to be because of the great academics, athletics, and culture.
I am majoring in Global business leadership, I got interested in business while playing junior hockey. I don’t really have a specific area I am interested in yet, I am looking forward to taking business classes to figure out what I enjoy and would like to make a career out of.
My professional goals are to work in the sports industry, I don’t know the job I want to have but I have always been interested in sports and want to pursue a career in sports and sports management.
